How seize handles your data.

The short version

The seize iOS app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no backend server, no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no advertising. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

What the app stores locally

Data you create in the app is stored on your device using iOS's built-in storage mechanisms:

• Journal entries — trade logs you write, including notes, profit/loss, and strategy tags. Stored only on your device.
• Alert preferences — which trading sessions you want notifications for and how far in advance. Stored only on your device.
• Calculator inputs — account size, risk percentage, and instrument selections you set. Stored only on your device.

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. iOS does not back this data up to iCloud unless you have iCloud backup enabled at the system level — that is iOS's behaviour, not anything the app does.

Notifications

The app uses iOS local notifications to alert you to upcoming trading session events (e.g. London open in 5 minutes). Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device based on UTC time calculations. No notification content is transmitted to any server.

Third-party services

None. The seize iOS app does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, cloud-sync services, social media SDKs, or external data providers.

The seize.pro website

This website (seize.pro) exists to describe the iOS app. We use Vercel for hosting; Vercel retains standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request metadata) under their default retention policy. These logs are accessed only for operational troubleshooting and are not used for marketing, tracking, or personalisation.

The website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Any cookies set by the browser are functional only (e.g. Next.js routing state).

What we don't do

• We do not require an account to use the app.
• We do not have any servers that process or store your trade data.
• We do not connect to your brokerage or trading platform.
• We do not handle, custody, or have access to user funds.
• We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties — we don't have your data to begin with.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

Your rights

Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question about the app, contact hello@seize.pro. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

The seize iOS app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
